It's been a while since I've been on here... we are trying to be better and be more consistent- as she types her first post of the year in April- God is working on me, please.
Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I would never need to have surgery. "God would never have me go under the knife- I serve a miracle working God!" A few of the things I would say to myself whenever the thought of surgery arose. "My body was perfect." I thought "Why would I ever have a scar?"
Oh boy, was I in for a shock!
This entry is going to be all over the place- & sometimes, that's just how God works. His ways are not ours and we shouldn't depend on the structures we have set for ourselves-Proverbs 16:9 Amplified Bible (AMP)- A man's mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the LORD directs his steps and establishes them.
Anyways, access and the favour of God were mine for the taking- as long as I remained humble and did as God directed. The words spoken to me by my pastor in the weeks leading up to an event that would change my mindset, lifestyle and how I viewed a lot of things in general.
My surgery lasted 2 hours, I didn't need a blood transfusion and then the doctors scraped 31 fibroids out of my small 5ft 3 inches frame ( I'm tall in spirit- can I get an AMEN!?) and Oh I'm a direct descendant of Adam and Eve since I have no bellybutton. If you don't get it, forget about it. LOL
For me to finally agree to surgery was a miracle in itself and to get the treatment I got was just by the mercies of God- you can't tell me any different. From my family, to the healthcare providers- there was a certain ease that came with every relationship from that time until now- more stories to be shared.
Let's just say, what God says concerning your life, has nothing to do with your plans. We can plan and plan and plan and God can just come through and switch it all up for His good.
I don't know about you but for me, in this season, my prayer has been for everything concerning my life to work out according to what God has purposed for me.
To the person reading this, I pray for the fulfilment of Gods purpose over your life in the mighty name of Jesus.
May God our father give us eyes to see and appreciate His plans for us. May we be directed to have faith that allows us to want what our dear Father in Heaven wants for us.
Amen.
